Forensic training can take on different types of formats: courses, webinars, modules, classes, seminars, workshops, and online classes. With so many ways to connect students with forensic training content, you may be wondering how to choose the best one?

Here's a list of questions that may help you sort through the offerings:

Are certificates of completion offered?

Will the presentation notes be offered or included in the registration?

If it's hands-on training course/module, am I allowed to take pictures to show my learned skills?

Does the topic interest me?

How does the training relate to my professional forensic goals?

Do I need to working as a forensic professional to take the course?

Will the webinar be repeated?

Is it P.O.S.T. Certified?

Is the presenter considered an expert in the topic being presented?

Am I able to contact the presenter after the event?

Is this a local event?

Does the training offer transferrable college credits?

What are the pre-requisites?

Do I have enough prior knowledge to understand the concept?

What is the cost?

Is this an on-demand course (working at your own pace) or must the course be completed by a certain date?

Although this list is a great start, I'm sure there are lots of other questions I may have not included. If you'd like your question to be included in this blog, let me know!
